Bubble City
   

 

   An alien world of the future sees another sun rising in strong colors. Friedrich, a scientist and artist, takes time from his busy schedule with the new telepathic technology designs to look at a video chatmail from his girlfriend. She quickly informs him he is too earnest all the time in his activities and she feels like they are not spontaneous enough. She decides at the end of the message to take time away from the relationship. Friedrich’s thoughts turn toward the possibility of a vacation from work and her altogether. He checks the vacation availability app to see if he can get away, perhaps away from Bubble City itself into the Limitlands, the swampy reaches outside of the City.
